Balancing charcoal #28

Too easy to power flaxbeard's and devalues coal, especially with automated treefarms.

Any suggestions on alternate ways of creating charcoal that wouldn't be too easy? I'd personally like something like Terra Firma Craft's way of doing it, though that's quite complicated and I doubt a mod exists for it, and even if so, it kind of falls under my "don't add a mod for a single (not so important) feature" stance.

Sadly, it appears that Minetweaker can't change the fuel value of charcoal and other Vanilla items. That would have been a good way to balance things. Could do things using custom dummy items.
