FI 2.0.12 doesn't work for me on Firefox 8 #21

I'm using Firefox8 on WinXP.  I installed FI 2.0.12, the dictionary, and 
HTMLRuby as linked on the main page and FAQ.  However, when selecting "insert 
furigana" the error console reports that "data" is undefined in insertRubys.  I 
poked around with a debugger and it looks like GetBrowserData() isn't returning 
anything.  gBrowser.selectedBrowser exists but 
gBrowser.selectedBrowser.furiganaInserter is void, so trying to use 
data.inserter errors.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the main addon (with appropriate Firefox 
restarts) but got the same results.
