Are there any error messages in the browser console (Ctrl+Shit+J)?
What happens if you uninstall the dictionary add-on and install MeCab instead?
I haven't tested Fx 38 yet, so I can't say anything. Can you change the size of
ruby?
You should use Ruby 8 or the one from this site. Ruby 6.22.3 has a memory leak
and makes Fx unusable after a while.

I don't know why but it seems that FI can't find "libmecab.dll" which is
included in FI. You can try adding "C:\Program Files (x86)\MeCab\bin" (the
directory where mecab is installed) to the environment variable PATH. Then FI
should be able to find it.
This has probably something to do with the option -profile.

could you tell me how to add that route to the environment variable PATH?

You may think that what you are telling me to do is pretty common knowledge but
even if that was the case I did not know about it. I thought it was to edit a
line of code of the add-on.
I get this error now

If you have installed MeCab then libmecab.dll should find the installation
folder using the registry. Check that the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\MeCab\mecabrc exists in the Windows
registry and points to the correct file. On my PC it's "C:\Program Files
(x86)\MeCab\etc\mecabrc".
If that doesn't help then I don't know what the problem is.

I have it installed, libmecab.dll it's on C:\Program Files (x86)\MeCab\bin and
I checked and I have that registry key and it points up to where you said.
