Disqus export to talk #11

It seems that the topic returns bi-yearly ;-) I have a Disqus export file in xml. I'm afraid that migrating via api will cross over api limits for free tier of disqus (I have been using Disqus for a long time)... I've tried to look into using this importer but it seems it's dependent on a previous version of Talk as an API for the import? Will this work after tweaking the importer to match my file? After the import - will this be effectively a V4 installation needing an upgrade to V5? Any hints will be welcome...

Hi @janslu! This tool currently only supports migrations from the provided methods to any Talk instance on v4.

We are currently working on an option for importing to v5 from various data sources (Disqus being one of those) that you will see updated: https://docs.coralproject.net/coral/migration/5.0/. Note that even that method only supports the JSON export files from Disqus and not XML. You may need to reach out to Disqus to get those files.
