Interaction with ShaoB is only in a channel? #12

I might be wrong, but it seems that all interaction with ShaoB is in the open, so creating a new profile, getting help, etc, is all spamming the channel you are in?

Typically when interacting with bots, introducing myself to them (nickserv is a good example) I open up a /query with them, get help, introduce myself (create a profile), and so forth.

I'm just wondering if this was by design with ShaoB (for everything to be open)?

I worked with IRC bots a lot in the late 90s and even set up several myself, so I'm quite familiar with how they work.
