User information #40

While user information with passwords is deprecated, simple user information (alice@example.com) is very much alive.

Can we retrofit this?

Note that mailto:alice@example.com is not userinfo, it is merely a path component of a URN.

Of course. This is about userinfo in an authority; the full example is https://alice@example.com
