Setting a SID file github repo without a duplicate and in range validations seem to be a recipe for disaster. Integrating a SID management frontend such as comi.space with github might be solution.
About the current status, the following files available in both repos are identical.
iana-hardware@2018-03-13.yang iana-if-type@2014-05-08.yang ietf-datastores@2018-02-14.yang ietf-hardware@2018-03-13.yang ietf-inet-types@2013-07-15.yang ietf-interfaces@2014-05-08.yang ietf-interfaces@2018-02-20.yang ietf-ip@2014-06-16.yang ietf-ip@2018-02-22.yang ietf-netconf-acm@2018-02-14.yang ietf-restconf@2017-01-26.yang ietf-system@2014-08-06.yang ietf-voucher@2018-05-09.yang ietf-yang-types@2013-07-15.yang
But both repos have files absent if the other one.
IETF tools issues are not tracked here. It is assumed that YANG files and SID files will be downloadable in similar fashion.
There are a number of SID files available on comi.space.
Are these official SID files? If not, then when and how do they become official SID allocations? Maybe a github repo under core-wg for Experimental SID FIles?
If yes, then they should be available in the YangModels/standard/ietf directory.
Goal: Have YangCatalog extract or generate or manually insert SID files in the daily pull requests to github::YangModels
People want to start working with real SID files. ASAP.
