@WJayesh Can you fix the DCO? You can reset the author with (4 commit):

git rebase -i HEAD~4 -x "git commit --amend --author 'Author Name <author.name@mail.com>' --no-edit"
yongtang commented 4 years ago

@WJayesh Can you send "Statement of Purpose" along with a "Cover Letter" (ideally in PDF format) to my email? I think I haven't received your email about that yet.

wjayesh commented 4 years ago

@yongtang Apologies, I will send the cover letter to your email. I had, earlier, uploaded a copy of the Cover Letter to the Community Bridge portal under CoreDNS. I will also create a Statement Of Purpose document.

@yongtang May I know why you haven't selected me? or is there any slot extra? or you had a priority?

yongtang commented 4 years ago

@Dhiraj240 There are several factors, including both the proposal itself and the community participation. We encourage contributions to coredns feature proposals, issue discussions, bug fixes and tests in a wide aspect within coredns community. We appreciate your contribution and hope to work with you in future Google-Summer-of-Code or CommunityBridge programs for CoreDNS.

@WJayesh Your proposal has been accepted. Can you change the status to accepted and the sponsor? Once the PR has been updated it can be merged.

wjayesh commented 4 years ago

@yongtang I have made the required changes. Thank you for accepting the proposal!

yongtang commented 4 years ago

@WJayesh Can you change the Status field to Accepted? Also, your PR touches 3 files. Can you only touch one file CommunityBridge Q2 2020/20200507-health-check-wjayesh.md and leave README.md and template alone?

wjayesh commented 4 years ago

I have accidentally signed the commit that added the extra two files. The git log still shows you as the author but has my sign on it too. I'm not sure if it's possible to un-sign that. I will open a new pull request if that's acceptable.
