IIRC at the time we were on an old OpenShift cluster running on RHEL7 and that was the source of the issue. I'll let @lucab set my memory straight.
Unfortunately last time the F36 bump broke when deployed on the fedora-infra cluster, while working fine locally. I'll tentatively try to deploy this again and see if this time is going to work properly.
I think there were issues that prevented us to get off of f35 (see https://github.com/coreos/fedora-coreos-cincinnati/issues/70). I'm not sure if @lucab has a local testing procedure he can use to determine whether this works without having to merge this and trying to deploy it in prod.
