This is most likely filesystem corruption; see https://github.com/coreos/rpm-ostree/issues/4457#issuecomment-1621059164 for a similar issue.

There's nothing we can do about that here, sorry.

(It would take significant evidence that something in the rpm-ostree stack is actively causing this to keep an issue open here)

To anyone else experiencing the same problem, try the following:

• rpm-ostree cleanup -m
• rpm-ostree cleanup -p
• rpm-ostree cleanup --rollback
