Re-write some introduction #62

RK highlights that I should bring out the niche theory/breadth idea a bit in the intro to better match the discussion.

So, essentially make it a little less about urbanization, and a bit more about theory applied to urbanization.

Also highlights I should bring out the 'conservation' theme a little bit more in the introduction.
