Last update was 2 years ago, I am not holding my breath.
Same issue here, tried to unlock again, same error.
Broken as of Sonoma 14.2 Public Beta 4. Sad. We need a fork.
I've dived deep into the issue, and it doesn't seem to be overly complex. Something about macOS components that are no longer located in the same places. But I don't have enough expertise (or time) to try and fix it.
Anybody interested in forking the project?
Thanks everyone for reporting this issue. Retroactive 2.1 resolves the problem where Aperture and iPhoto quit unexpectedly on macOS Sonoma 14.2 or later.
Retroactive only receives limited support. You should transition from Retroactive to a wide range of supported apps, many of which are built into macOS or free to download. Learn how to transition from Retroactive to supported apps.
Sorry for prematurely sending that reply. I figured out how to open it, although it required me to sudo open
the Retroactive app using Terminal. It seems that other haven’t had to do this, but just in case anyone else does, using Terminal to open Retroactive works.
