There are a few extensions in VS Code that can open up sqlite files and display them. SQLite Viewer seems nice.
Do we want learners to have a go with these? I think it's valuable to get the idea of rows and columns at some point, but I like that we're not using any tool outside of sqlite3 as their primary way of interacting with the db
