Put the "last updated" text on the same line as the "Inqlude is a KDE project" text.
Make "last updated" text appear only on the home page, not on any of the other pages.
Remove the container-fluid.content background box and use separate background boxes for the side-bar and main-pane separately. This provides more balanace to the layout.

Could you please add a unit test for the changes in the Ruby code? I would recommend doing TDD, so that you always have tests, by the way.
