[Business-Rules] Validity check not working according to 2G rules #853

Closed mejmo closed 1 year ago

mejmo commented 2 years ago

The app does not do certificate verification for Austria correctly. They have completely different 2G rules, so in the app it shows the certificate is valid for Austria but it is not because last vaccination was more than half a year ago. Please fix, I consider this as quite critical because it can spoil travel plans.

Ein-Tim commented 2 years ago

You mean clicking on "Reisegültigkeit prüfen" and then selecting "Österreich" leads to this wrong result?

The "Reisegültigkeit prüfen" feature is intended to be used for checking whether one is allowed to enter the country.

Is the result of the check in accordance with the current entry rules to Austria?

mejmo commented 2 years ago

Yes. For Austria is the vaccination of the second shot older than 6 months considered as not vaccinated at all. If I am wrong please correct me, it might be that I do not understand that feature.

mejmo commented 2 years ago

If it is only for entering the country then the title "Your certificate satisfy 2G rule" is wrong. Because it does not satisfy nor austrian nor german 2G rule.

Edit: ok for Germany not sure if they inplemented already the half a year thing. Probably not.

mejmo commented 2 years ago

Ok you are right, for entering the country it is 270 days after 2nd shot however in order to STAY in the country it is 180 days after 2nd jab.

Ein-Tim commented 2 years ago

Okay, as the app is intended for use in Germany the 2G(+) badges are shown according to German rules.

For Austria it's only relevant that the validity check for entering the country is correct

I think we identified that this is a non-issue and it can be closed, or @mejmo?
