@MikeMcC399 Thank you for reporting! We created an internal Ticket for the issue. Internal Tracking ID: EXPOSUREAPP-13453
It is also necessary that there is a clear information for which types of PCR tests a TAN can't be requested (e.g. what about RT-PCR, NAT-PCR, etc.). Also, please mention directly in the app that TANs can't be requested for positive (self done) RATs.
Obsolete due to up-coming CWA 3.0.
Avoid duplicates
See https://www.coronawarn.app/en/faq/results/#rat_tan_hotline "Can I share my positive rapid antigen test or PCR rapid test result via the TAN hotline?"
Technical details
Describe the bug
The FAQ https://www.coronawarn.app/en/faq/results/#rat_tan_hotline "Can I share my positive rapid antigen test or PCR rapid test result via the TAN hotline?" states:
"It is not possible to share a positive rapid test or rapid PCR test result via the TAN hotline."
however the app does not make it clear that a TAN can only be requested for a laboratory-based PCR test, not for a rapid PCR test (see https://www.coronawarn.app/en/faq/results/#glossary_pcr_test for explanation of the differences).
Steps to reproduce the issue
Expected behavior
In the section regarding "Request TAN for PCR Test" it should say that TANs cannot be requested for rapid PCR tests.
Possible Fix
The section regarding "Request TAN for PCR Test" should explain that there are two types of PCR tests:
and that TANs can only be requested for a laboratory-based PCR test.
Additional Information
According to https://www.coronawarn.app/en/faq/results/#glossary_rapid_pcr_test "At the moment it is not possible to get a Rapid PCR Test result in the Corona-Warn-App, but the technical preparations have already been implemented in version 2.19.", so if at any time there are organizational changes made to integrate the flow of rapid PCR test results into the CWA infrastructure, then the above discussion would have to be reviewed.
