What does the Test-Art "PCR-Test" on https://map.schnelltestportal.de/ mean?

Is this a

Laborbasierte PCR-Test or does it also include
PoC-NAT-Test (aka Rapid PCR-Test) ?

https://map.schnelltestportal.de/usage.html does not explain.

Thanks for bringing up the topic again!

The aforementioned BMG still has the information from https://www.bundesgesundheitsministerium.de/coronavirus/nationale-teststrategie/faq-covid-19-tests.html on their website and since testing is still required for hospitals, etc. the topic is not dead.

AFAIK there are no rapid PCR tests centers connected to the CWA at the moment, so I guess the answer to the question from @MikeMcC399 is: No, as there are no connected testing sites.

You're right.

https://map.schnelltestportal.de/usage.html says:

"Es werden nur Testanbieter angezeigt, die die Übermittlung des Testergebnisses in die Corona-Warn-App anbieten."

so since rapid PCR tests are not live in CWA, then details for these tests should not be shown on https://map.schnelltestportal.de/

That could be added as a comment to https://map.schnelltestportal.de/usage.html , however I will close this issue since it is effectively answered.

@dsarkar Maybe you could share what the internal ticket holds for information with us? Or is it the ticket to make it possible to receive rapid PCR test results via the CWA?

@MikeMcC399 @Ein-Tim Internal Tracking ID: EXPOSUREAPP-13061 is a user story to support PCR-Rapid-Tests / PoC-NAT-Tests. I added this issue in the internal ticket in order to stress that there is in general some interest in this topic/enhancement.

This issue has not been addressed, so the map portal is out-of-sync with the CWA FAQs.

The https://map.schnelltestportal.de/ should clearly differentiate between the different types of PCR test and mention this also in the help text on https://map.schnelltestportal.de/usage.html.
