Reference to use of paper certificate for validation unclear / not always true #1810

Where to find the issue

https://www.coronawarn.app/en/faq/#vac_cert_verification "How is the proof of vaccination verified?"

which says:

"Alternatively, proof with the paper-based vaccination document is possible."

https://www.coronawarn.app/de/faq/#vac_cert_verification "Wie soll der Nachweis einer Impfung geprüft werden können?"

which says:

"Alternativ ist ein Nachweis mit dem analogen Impfausweis möglich."

Describe the issue

  1. In the English version it is not clear in the article what type of paper-based vaccination document is being described. It could be a paper-based digital vaccination certificate or it could be the yellow booklet "International Certificates of Vaccination / Internationale Bescheinigungen über Impfungen und Impfbuch".
  2. In both language versions, according to issue https://github.com/corona-warn-app/cwa-website/issues/1805 Berlin only accepts a digital vaccination certificate, so it is not always true that a non-digital vaccination certificate will be accepted.

Suggested change

The Corona-Warn-App does not use the yellow vaccination document at all, so in my view it is better not to make statements about it because this is the responsibility of other authorities.

Remove the sentence:

otherwise it will be necessary to state clearly what type of paper-based document is meant, that it is not always accepted, that holder will need to check in advance depending on where they intend to present their proof of vaccination and that they can get a digital certificate from a pharmacy.
