Describe the issue

Information in the FAQs about where to get statistical information is out of date.

According to RKI "Infektionsketten digital unterbrechen mit der Corona-Warn-App" the weekly report is retired and replaced by the (Analysis) dashboard.

"Kennzahlen-Dashboard zur Corona-Warn-App"

Kennzahlen-Dashboard zur Corona-Warn-App

The following statement is not reflected in the FAQs and blog:

"An die Stelle des wöchentlichen Übersichtsdokuments tritt nun ein öffentliches, interaktives Dashboard mit den wichtigsten Kennzahlen. Diese werden täglich aktualisiert."

This issue is related to https://github.com/corona-warn-app/cwa-website/issues/1355 "Suggestion: Stop publishing weekly app status report"

If the Open Source Team agrees with the suggested changes above I can provide a PR to cover this.

@dsarkar

Stand by, we will come back to you!

Sure. I have some suggestions prepared. I just didn't want to overload you right now whilst the 2.12 release is being prepared.

MikeMcC399 commented 3 years ago

@dsarkar

I simplified my suggestion and submitted PR #1963 to update the FAQ only i.e. no changes to the Blog.

Probably there should be a blog post which mentions the change. That would best come from the usual blog writer team I imagine.

Please take a look at the PR when it is convenient for you.

PR #1963 has been merged so the FAQs are updated

A blog update would be helpful to transfer the information from the RKI site where it says: "An die Stelle des wöchentlichen Übersichtsdokuments tritt nun ein öffentliches, interaktives Dashboard mit den wichtigsten Kennzahlen" .

If you read:

  1. https://www.coronawarn.app/en/blog/2021-10-04-key-figures-dashboard/ "From now on, important key figures are also available in a public dashboard as an interactive overview." "also available" implies that the previous reports will continue

  2. https://www.coronawarn.app/en/blog/2021-10-01-facts-and-figures/ "In this post, you can find regularly updated facts and figures about the Corona-Warn-App, ..." "regular updates" implies that there will be more in the future.

It might also make sense to add a note to both these blogs to clarify, but that would be re-writing history and blogs are like newspapers: you don't (normally) do that.

This is a job for the blog authors to decide what to do.

I will leave this issue open for the time-being.

The remaining points in this issue are transferred to a new issue #1994 for the sake of clarity.

The FAQ has already been updated (see PR #1963).
