Remove broken URL (Addresses #3514) #3515

Description

This PR removes a URL that doesn't work anymore as the backend infrastructure is being shut down.

Fixes #3514

@Ein-Tim I thought it was agreed, not to remove broken links, but to mark them as "outdated".

@dsarkar Thanks for the reminder, please let me clarify with the team what our maintenance strategy for the science blogs is.

If the science blog is being maintained and further articles are planned, then the existing science blog articles should also be corrected if they have link errors in them. That would be my expectation.

In this case there is no value to keeping a link to a CWA API end-point which no longer exists. It would make sense to merge the PR which @Ein-Tim has provided. I don't see any advantage to not merging the PR.

@Ein-Tim @MikeMcC399 Indeed, I totally agree that the science blog articles should be maintained, so yes, this PR will be merged probably with some minor changes, e.g. instead of removing the link, stating that the linked resource is not available anymore. My understanding is that @Ein-Tim will cross-check how to proceed.

We agreed to go another way, although implementing the changes that are necessary for this might take some time.
