Background color of Positive Test notification should be red #847

Open retonap opened 1 year ago

retonap commented 1 year ago

Current Implementation

A positive test notification is actually (CWA 2.24.2) using a gray background

Suggested Enhancement

To outline the importance, it should be a red background color. Make it an eye catcher:-) Just like it is with the 'high risk' notification. Screenshot_20220728-103624_Corona-Warn.jpg

Expected Benefits

People will more easily understand the importance of this notification

Internal Tracking ID: EXPOSUREAPP-13888

I would like to work on this issue

MikeMcC399 commented 1 year ago

If this is changed it should be done for both iOS and Android for consistency.

This request fits better into the category https://github.com/corona-warn-app/cwa-wishlist/issues

With a white system theme, the red colours are an eye catcher to me:

@DerVogel2020

Thanks for Light mode screen shot!

@retonap

Here is a Dark mode screen short from CWA TEST which allows all COVID-19 test results to be shown for app testing. There are several red icons which alert the reader if there has been a positive result. Also after having actively taken a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test I think most people will pay exact attention to the wording on the result and will not be influenced in their attention to need any different background colour.

This is different to the risk screen where the user has a more passive role and could be surprised by a sudden Increased Risk display.

PCR Test positive dark mode

I don't think any change to the background is necessary. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

DerVogel2020 commented 1 year ago

I also think it's not necessary, because it's difficult to compute when the test is not relevant any more and the background has to change (to green?). Is it after 5 days? Or after 2 weeks? In the risk screen it's defined as 10 days. But here, it depends on each person different.

@thomasaugsten Are you able to transfer this to the CWA wishlist repo and create a JIRA ticket (probably a story) for this issue?
