[Question] annotation type and annotation data type #34

Do they carry different meaning? I saw both are carrying ros message type which are duplicated. Could we utilise data type and use annotation type for different purpose? or merge them into data type?

Nop... the same. But it's very convenient, as like that I don't need the annotation to serialize/deserialize data as message
