Traffic routed but not masked #17

I have setup and configured this on a Ubuntu box, It appears to be routing traffic through the proxy, but is still appearing from my original IP. If i stop the HTTPS-SNI-Proxy process running web traffic fails to connect to the destination server as it should.

My configuration is exactly the same and i have repeated all the steps to this guide.

I would clear your cookies and temp internet files. If the websites stop working when SNI is stopped then it should mean that the connection is being proxied correctly.

thanks, it turns out my Smoothwall box was changing the DNS back as the page went through the proxy.
