Resets drag lock every so often #11

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable drag lock in synaptics (Tapping -> Tap & Drag -> Locking drags)
2. Test locking drags to see if it works (it does)
3. Enable two-finger-scroll
4. Wait an hour or so...
5. Test locking drags to see if it works (it does not)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Obviously it should not reset drag lock!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using Vista 64 (doubt it makes a difference), synaptics driver 11.2.15,
1.05 of tfs

Please provide any additional information below.

I am having this issue too. I have a Dell Studio XPS 13 (m1340), also using
Vista
64-bit. For me, what sets DragLock off is simply attempting to do any
two-finger
scrolling.

Synaptics Driver: 12.0.1 (Dell release)
TwoFingerScroll: 1.0.6

Same problem :-(. After scrolling with two fingers, the Draglock option is
disabled.

There are two other options that get constantly changed: the touchpad velocity
and
the option to automatically point to the default option in new menus.

I'm on a Dell 1555 (Studio 15), Vista 32 bits, Dell Touchpad Driver v. 12.2.3
and
Twofingerscroll v. 1.0.6

Thanks!

Ok. I've found an extremely easy workaround for this issue: not starting
TwoFingerScroll with windows, but later instead.

Salut!

I can confirm this problem. Happens every time one uses a feature of
fingerscroll
(1.0.6/Windows 7). Can this be fixed? It's kind of.. annoying.

Cheers,

Evan

I have the same problem as well. Whenever fingerscroll is enabled i can no
longer drag anything, so i have disabled twofingerscroll. Please fix!
