For a while, I could sometimes draw lasso points or clear lassos on my Mac (maybe every tenth click worked). Now it has stopped entirely.
I was using command-click as the equivalent of control-click. Control-click, for the record, doesn't work either.
Some details: MacOS Monterey version 12.1. I have an M1 Macbook Pro, and I had to install and run phy with the arch -x86_64 prefix in order to avoid lots of problems with various libraries. I don't know if that might have something to do with it.
In general, I don't have problems on this computer with mouse clicks (whether right or left clicks).
