Phy2 can be installed but "segmentation fault" while trying to open GUI in MacOS (Apple M2 Pro, Ventura 13.2.1) #1237

I can download and install Phy2 on my M2 Pro MacBook (Ventura 13.2.1), however, anytime while trying to run the Phy2 GUI by giving the command "phy template-gui params.py", the same error notification always pops up, showing "11 segmentation faults". Can anyone please help me? Thank you!

I've been trying to help other people, but we have never been able to get Phy to work on Macs. Phy relies heavily on openGL which has been deprecated on Macs (ie you need an old version of opengl which means old versions of a bunch of code), so it might not be worth trying to get it set up on a Mac.

I've been trying to help other people, but we have never been able to get Phy to work on Macs. Phy relies heavily on openGL which has been deprecated on Macs (ie you need an old version of opengl which means old versions of a bunch of code), so it might not be worth trying to get it set up on a Mac.
