the following text:

  *  If multiple certificates are conveyed, a CBOR array of bstrs is
     used.  Each certificate being in it's own slot.

about the "its own slot", confuses me. This seems to imply order. (I think this might be a copy-paste error).

Also minor "it's" -> "its" (here and in x5chain description)
