Query regarding DarkMatterIntegrator #27

Closed TejasSatheesh closed 2 years ago

Hi,

We can use the DarkMatterIntegrator to get the flux as a function of gamma-ray energy (for a given DM mass, channel and NFW profile) at any given observer position. For a given NFW profile parameters (the concentration, gamma slope, mass of halo) and observer position, can any one tell how do I obtain the J-factor using HERMES?

Any help in this regard would be really useful.

Thanks! Tejas

I can do this, by computing the spectral part separately and the full differential flux at a given energy E(gamma). Then dividing spectral part at (Egamma) by the full differential flux at (Egamma) should give the J-factor. I can think I can close this issue.

Thanks, Tejas
