Set table width (when used with % column widths (see previous request))

Can a new option be added to allow the table width to be altered relative to the page its in? This will allow better presentation of the table, especially when combined with the float option. Something like this: {{tablelayout?colwidth="30%,30%,20%,20%"&tablewidth="80%"}}

Its already implemented in the tablewidth plugin but I want to use just one plugin for table formatting and I want to stick with this one

I subscribe. The plugin is a a fine approach, but we have to find a solution to make it responsive. The tables has to fit on a phone, but is ridiculous to force me on the desktop with a huge display to have the same fixed little slim and endless table :). This will be the second essential plugin after Edittable, for sure. SplitMind, SplitBrain, anybody, let's try to find a solution :).

I subscribe too. I'm currently using the tablewidth plugin, because it recognizes the % specificator generating responsive tables. I would like to switch to tablelayout plugin for its richer options, but the % specificator is mandatory for my needs.
