NOOB ALERT: Seeking to dynamically add transformations on satellites (if possible) #375

Open jeveloper opened 3 weeks ago

jeveloper commented 3 weeks ago

The Problem

An ability to dynamically launch transformations on satellites (existing or new).

The Solution

A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. Seeking for vague or solid suggestions. I am willing to sponsor this work, objectively out of my own pocket so I might get cheap (forgive me).

The Alternatives

A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.

Not sure.

Thank you for reading

Hi there! Thank you for checking out CosmoScout VR! I do not fully understand what you are looking for. Satellites in CosmoScout are controlled via SPICE kernels. So if you have such a kernel for a given space mission, you could use this to place a 3D satellite at the corresponding position in space and time.

Adding satellites to arbitrary positions in space and time is not really possible right now. Do you want this?

Or would you rather be interested in moving parts of a satellite? Like cameras, antennas, etc?
