all that does is make a copy of the repository under your account. it doesn't affect this one at all.
If you want to delete it, go to the settings (the wrench and screwdriver icon) on the right in the page for YOUR copy of the repository (eqsara/ssrd_pecube) and the delete button is in the red danger zone box at the bottom
Actually, don't delete your fork.
Forking is good; it is how you make changes to a repository that you don't own.
basically, if you want to add stuff to this, you fork the repo, then you add stuff (or do whatever) to your repository and then 'commit' those changes (saving the state of the repo at that point). then, you can submit what is called a 'pull request' where you push your changes to my repository, and I merge them into mine.
I was trying to figure out how to upload a text file for the sample data/locations, and I accidentally forked the repository. I have no idea how to delete it now. Sorry.
