Prefer font using ないなに ... Could you please state what なになに refers to?
I am afraid that directly-translating it into "偏好使用字型: XXXX" may cause contextual conflicts. // 文脈の把握がない限り、正しい翻訳は保証できませんので、ご説明いただければ幸いです。

I have a suggestion for the localization for the terms space/tab:
"Spaces" = "空格(Space)"; "Tabs" = "製表字元(Tab)";
I prefer not to use () in UI labels as Apple seems to avoid it. Therefore, I suggest just to remove (Space) and use just 空格 for the term Space(s).
Regarding the term Tab in Traditional Chinese, Apple seems to use the term 定位符號 for it.
c.f. Tab | Apple Localization Terms Glossary I know the word tab is a bit complicated since there are multiple meanings: tab for the user interface part, tab for the Tab key, and tab for the tab character. And in Apple-favored Traditional Chinese, they might be 標籤頁, Tab鍵, and 定位符號. What do you think?

No, it's not about the Warnings inspector you mentioned but for the option view (I attached in the original post) to toggle whether the user wants to suppress specific warning dialogs. I adopted the label from the Xcode Settings, which has a button for a similar context.

I found macOS prefer using the term “Monochasse” for the translation of “Monospaced.” cf. https://applelocalization.com/macos?q=monospaced&l=English&l=French&l=Japanese So, I'd like to change these expressions to "Monochasse" and "Police monochasse:". What do you think? (What makes us confused is Apple also uses the term “fixed-pitch” for the same meaning, for instance in Mail.app. Therefore, I've considered which CotEditor should adopt and decided to use “Monospaced” because modern apps like Notes.app and FontBook.app tend to use it.)

Unfortunately, this is a long-standing issue that I cannot solve. I've even asked an Apple engineer at WWDC 2022 about it, but no clue was found. According to my research, this happens when the user builds CotEitor in Xcode and then uses a normal one e.g. in the Applications directory.

Currently, CotEditor uses both the legacy .strings format and the new localization format .xcstrings (strings catalog). Like before, all strings to be localized in .strings files are tagged with
FIXME:; and in new xcstrings files, they are (automatically) stated asNEWorNEEDS REVIEW. For the localization for CotEditor 4.6.0, please send a pull request or submit localized text as a reply in this issue thread. I know the current situation is a kind of messy. I'm sorry for it. I'd like to migrate all to the new xcstrings in the future but it takes some more time.Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions.
In this version the term “syntax style” is renamed to just “syntax.” Thus, a lot of strings containing “syntax style” must be localized again. Please refer the existing localization if you want.
