Description
Examination of the latest UShER tree shows a clade associated with introduction into Sri Lanka with onward transmission. This clade is downstream of A25974C (Orf3a:E194D) and should receive the next available B.1.1.7 sub-lineage name, Q.8, to assist with fine-scale virus tracking.
