It is prevalent in the southwestern region of China, and currently only a small number of samples are collected from other regions of China. This branch has regional prevalence. @corneliusroemer

Dear @DailyCovidCases, we don't need comments that just state that an issue is stale. Please either add some real value by posting actual information on the trajectory of the branch (e.g. new usher tree, covspectrum plot, last sequence etc) or don't comment. It's just causing notification spam for everyone.

You have been asked to provide reasoning by @AngieHinrichs and others before. Please try to act on this feedback. Otherwise we might have to disallow you from this repository, something I don't want to do but you are making it increasingly difficult given the work you create.

Now 206 seqs: This branch has high prevalence between February and May in China, so I think this branch should be designated: https://cov-spectrum.org/explore/World/AllSamples/Y2024/variants?nucMutations=T18453C%2CT889C%2CC2070T%2CC774T&nextcladePangoLineage=JN.1.4*& usher Screenshot (176) Screenshot (177)

If this branch is dead, you should close this issue

However, the upload speed of Chinese sequences is obviously very slow.
