Proposal for a Sublineage of AY.112 with Spike Y144del, E484Q, and Some with Additional P499R (~660 Sequence, ~26% Prevalence in India) #385

Description Sub-lineage of: AY.112 Earliest sequence: 2021/1/10 (probably some input error) Most recent sequence: 2021/12/16 Countries circulating: India mainly Detected at border-entry: Japan ex-India, Singapore ex-India

Substitutions on top of AY.112:

*Not all sequences have spike Y144del

The largest clade fo this proposed sublineage also has the following additional mutations (~230 sequences):

This clade+S:499R had a substantial growth rate advantage versus B.1.617.2 all sublineages baseline: Schermata 2022-01-26 alle 13 39 55
