  1. What is Web3
  2. What are some categories of common data points in Web3
  3. What is an API and how you can use an API to access blockchain data

Then, make a video, and an accompanying PPT slide deck, explaining to your layman friends:

  1. What is Web3
  2. What are the ways to get commonly used data points of: a. Token balances for address b. Historic Portfolio value c. NFT collections market cap
  3. What is an API and how to use Covalent API to access blockchain data

This project is going to be a step by step guide for beginners and new developers interested in being a part of the web3 space. It will incorporate a general definition of web3 and important things to know about it. It will focus majorly on APIs and how to use Covalent APIs. 5) okeaguugochukwu has started work.

I will explain web3 in a way a layman will understand. 6) solexj1000 has started work.

This video gives a brief history of the web and where we are now. Also highlights what an API is how to use the COVALENT API to access blockchain data. 7) jamesksks has started work.

Dear Hackers,

Great apologies for those of you who have already started on the bounty - there's some changes to the prize composition for this bounty. The latest bounty information is reflected in the write up above.

The reason for this change is because we were informed by the organizers that it's better for the prizes to be distributed to more hackers to ensure healthier participation. As the Codeless Con Hackathon has not officially begun, we have decided to proceed with this change. This does mean that those who have already begun working on this bounty are thus slightly short-changed. For that we apologize.

Fret not, however, because if your project is well executed, you'll be sure to take something home regardless when you win!
