Context:

The Covalent API brings about multi-chain data to our users. Using ‘Analyst Mode’, you can easily export all kinds of blockchain data into CSV format.

Don't know what's an API? No fret! For the uninitiated, just think of APIs as data dispensaries - at Covalent, you enter a certain URL into the browser, we give you a bundle of blockchain data. These URLs are called 'endpoints', and can be accessed via browser, or through our API Reference.

For instance, to get all the token balances of my wallet, I can use the Get Token Balances for Address endpoint.

At Covalent, we have an 'analyst' mode that allows you to pull blockchain data in xlsx format.

However, it is still difficult for a beginner with no experience using APIs to learn how to use Analyst mode. Mostly because, they don't know that it's possible to use APIs without code!

Description

Get an API key, and play around with the Covalent API Analyst Mode on the Covalent API Reference site.

Design a series of quests/games/challenges that'll allow a complete beginner to be familiar with the process of exporting and analyzing blockchain data using Covalent API’s analyst mode in CSV format.

You can submit your quests in PPT format, or a tutorial video. The quests should be challenging, and they should be ordered in incremental levels of difficulty. At least 4 levels of quests must be designed to be considered for this bounty. At the end of the quests, the individual should be able to know how to export most kinds of data Covalent provides, along with inputting their own custom parameters.

I'm going to prepare some quests that can help those who are starting with Covalent 5) zenithlel has started work.

A design of interactive game that allows a total beginner have an understanding of covalent 6) kouei-lin has started work.

A quest in PPT format to onboard new users.

Dear Hackers,

Great apologies for those of you who have already started on the bounty - there's some changes to the prize composition for this bounty. The latest bounty information is reflected in the write up above.

The reason for this change is because we were informed by the organizers that it's better for the prizes to be distributed to more hackers to ensure healthier participation. As the Codeless Con Hackathon has not officially begun, we have decided to proceed with this change. This does mean that those who have already begun working on this bounty are thus slightly short-changed. For that we apologize.

Fret not, however, because if your project is well executed, you'll be sure to take something home regardless when you win!

Unfortunately, for this category, the only project which qualified for the full bounty is @alexanderkoh's quest. This is because, the rest of the submissions, although informative, did not hit the experience of a quest...Many were simply a series of questions in PPT.

However, we still want to reward everyone's effort. So, do find below the winner's list and amounts:

Thanks for the hard work of determining the details of the Quest Bounty from the participants.

I just wanna confirm that Yes I asked Questions for the Quest https://github.com/byre54/CODELESSCONDUCT/tree/main/Covalent/covalentquick, but on several questions you need to do something (quest) to gain the information for the answer. As enclosed, this question requires the audience to use Covalent API Call to Fetch Vitalik's wallet Token Ballances and take a look at the TICKER column. before they can get the answer correctly & confidently.
