Context:

NFTs are all the rage. However, it is difficult to get aggregated NFT data, such as: which are the most popular NFT collections? How many holders are there for a particular NFT collection?

With Covalent API, you can easily get these data. Covalent has introduced 2 new Class A endpoints which provide granular NFT market data for numerous marketplaces across 5 blockchains – Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, and Moonriver.

Using the analyst mode in Covalent’s API reference, anyone can get started with no code experience. For instance, clicking on ‘Try It Live’ at the Get NFT Market Global View section with analyst mode, you’ll get an exportable table with valuable data points such as: collection name, volume, market cap, unique token IDs, transaction count. This table includes live data for all NFT collections within the specified blockchain ecosystem.

Exporting into Google Sheets, you can do unique buyer analysis such as follows: Screenshot 2022-02-10 at 9 58 40 PM

Description

The challenge is to build a NFT Crypto sheet for analyzing NFT data.

Obviously, you need to come up with some questions about NFTs you’re interested in discovering more about. Then, use your Crypto Sheet powered by Covalent API to answer those questions.

Example questions include:

What are the top 10 NFT collections by market cap within the Avalanche ecosystem?

The bounty prizes go to the most sophisticated, visually appealing, and informative Crypto Sheet.

Dear Hackers,

Great apologies for those of you who have already started on the bounty - there's some changes to the prize composition for this bounty. The latest bounty information is reflected in the write up above.

The reason for this change is because we were informed by the organizers that it's better for the prizes to be distributed to more hackers to ensure healthier participation. As the Codeless Con Hackathon has not officially begun, we have decided to proceed with this change. This does mean that those who have already begun working on this bounty are thus slightly short-changed. For that we apologize.

Fret not, however, because if your project is well executed, you'll be sure to take something home regardless when you win!
