Web3 Application General Purpose Bounty

Prize Bounty

The prize pool includes a top prize of $3,000 and a minimum prize of $500 to qualifying projects at Covalent’s discretion. To qualify, projects must, at the very least, use one Covalent API endpoint and pull on-chain data from any of our 28 supported chains.

Challenge Description

We at Covalent believe that access to organized blockchain data can unlock a billion possibilities and so we provide the best single unified API to bring full transparency and visibility to assets across all blockchain networks. With the Covalent API, there is no need to invest developer resources in writing SQL or other queries since granular, decoded, multi-chain data is immediately available for 30+ blockchain networks including Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Fantom and Avalanche. Covalent is fast becoming the go-to data provider, with the Covalent API powering over 1,000 industry-leading projects such as Zerion, ChainGuardians, 0x and Reef.

Judging Criteria

Submissions will be judged by Covalent based on their technical merits as well as the likelihood of implementation.

In general, submissions are graded on a 1-5 scale in each of the following categories

While all projects are technically eligible for the pool prize, Covalent judges will have the final say on which projects qualify🙂. Additionally, projects which exceed expectations will be offered bonus prizes.

A simple webpage where the user just have to paste its wallet adress to see a list of all the tokens he have and upon selection see the stats of each of them, their last news and their possible price if they reached the market cap of the top 10 cryptos. No data is stored on any database, the only storage used is LocalStorage so that the user does not have to retype its wallet address. Fraction is a protocol that allow users to earn on a particular asset, the ability to wrap an asset (usually a stablecoin) to an ERC1155 and earn yield in form of superfluid streams of a custom token. We also offer the ability to mint a soulbound nft that bound users to their assets and we use unstoppable domain to login with their domain names as proof of humanity to earn them more interests in the reward streams of our ERC20 token. Although not mentioned in the video, the contracts were deployed and the inferface is only currently available on polygon mumbai chain and we are looking forward to a migration to mainnet. CryptoInspect is an online platform that aims to become a free access crypto dashboard that allow users to visualize blockchain information with an intuitive user-friendly interface in combination with the powerful covalent API that delivers up to date and organized blockchain data. This project allows users to connect their wallet and verify with the homepage which network they are connected to, the connected address is used to inspect address transactions on the Transaction page. Spirit Compass is a tool that degens, regens and DAO members can use to document, collect and visualize their spirit over time. It allows individuals to engage with color as an intuitive indicator for their spirit and delivers them prompts according to the color chosen. These prompts incorporate the color's meaning and the natural healing levers associated to it.

Individual auras can be submitted to inform collective ones, creating a visual representation of how communities and their members are relating to color at a certain moment in time. The colors, or spirits, within the community can serve DAO operators in learning more about their community, creating incentives and in corresponding to emotional needs by adapting member experience, for instance.

With Spirit Compass, our goal is to increase individuals' awareness of the many ways nature can heal us and the many simple ways that exist to make us feel better.

Individual auras are recorded using browser memory, whereas collective auras are generated once individuals choose to submit to the collective and thereby trigger a transaction. The Covalent API is used to draw in and visualize these transactions, informing the color of the collective aura as well as its 'energy' or movement, i.e. how many community members have actively submitted their spirit. 35) mum33n has started work.

This project implements Harberger Taxes using NFTs. A Harberger Tax is a tax scheme where the owner of the asset picks the price at which they value an asset. The owner then pays a recurring tax on that self-assesed value. Anyone can force the owner to sell it to them if they offer to buy the asset at the price set by the seller. This incentivizes people to give an accurate estimate of how much they value the asset.

A High-level walkthrough for the NFT implementation of a Harbeger Tax:

@RahulBansal123 The hackathon description was pretty clear, you can reread it above This is a covalent bounty to reward valuable products using the covalent API not valuable contribution to the community.

@RahulBansal123 - Your product is indeed innovative, which is why it won a prize with us, and we'd want to support it in a small way. You're also free to submit it to other hackathons where the vertical of focus is directly aligned with your product to possibly win more prizes. The challenge with this particular bounty is that your area of innovation is more in smart contracts, and the Covalent integration plays a supporting role. In general we prioritize projects which features Covalent integration on a deeper level, or where the innovation occurs with the usage of the API. I hope it makes sense. Nonetheless, it's a great project you got there.
