Consider adding revision/version tags to repo. #23

Hi sommer contributors,

I think it would be a good idea to tag releases to CRAN with their corresponding versions. This allows users to checkout, tweak build config flags, and rebuild at a specific revision-level of interest.

Any idea how to do this? I thought all releases are tagged with an specific version.
