Search no longer works in Kodi Leia #9

Apparently, due to a change in the Kodi core code, the search function for some plugins breaks in Leia - I can confirm that Covenant is in the mix. Here's an article that purports to offer a fix: https://koditips.com/kodi-search-not-working-in-18-leia-help-fix/

I can double-confirm. Several other plugins are similarly broken. Been waiting for a update, but none has been forthcoming. Wondering if there's any active development on Covenant anymore...
