Great work! Just a couple of observations:

• the code seems quite clean, nice work
• missing x$id <- "IND" in the IND function
• no need to plug NA if the columns are not available, you can just drop those lines
• we would need to add a dependence to httr and jsonlite to support your functions in the package. Is is possible to read the data in csv instead of the json from https://api.covid19india.org/data.json? If not, I will think about the dependencies no problem. Just let me know
• very important: data source? I see: a volunteer-driven database for COVID-19 stats & patient tracing in India... do you know where are they getting the data?

Thank You for the feedback. I will modify the codes accordingly.

The data is from a crowdsourced patient database [https://www.covid19india.org/], where all the time-series data from multiple entities are collated along with the link to the official source. Let me know if this works.
