Additional comments

Note that the data contains some reductions in cumulative values from the previous day for that state. These are where official sources have made the same change, generally moving patients from their state of arrival to their home state.

Just FYI: you can safely drop the columns population, administrative_area_level_1, administrative_area_level_3, and id from https://github.com/M3IT/COVID-19_Data/blob/master/Data/COVID_AU_cumulative.csv

I'm using instead the names of the states in your column administrative_area_level_2 to match with our data from https://github.com/covid19datahub/COVID19/blob/master/inst/extdata/db/AUS.csv. So please dont't rename/remove administrative_area_level_2 :)
