Suggestion: Co-WIN website auto-filter #158

Hello,

This may not be the right place to highlight this, but I hope someone at Co-WIN will be able to see this:

When we goto book the vaccine appointment, I believe that the website can make our lives easier by auto-filtering by age based on the beneficiary's age, and also by vaccine type if the 1st dose has already been given.

This should be a simple enough filter to apply, and can save people valuable time.

More than more people can register from the same one ID. Your Suggestion will cause confusion I think. If I want to register my mother from my phone, it will not show 45+ slots. I am not working with COWIN app by any means. Just had observation similar to yours.

I meant checking the details of the person for whom we're going to schedule the appointment. Already a check is performed when a 18-44 age person tries to register for 45+ slots. All I'm saying is that this check can be done automatically by the server. Perhaps instead of hiding the other slots, the Co-WIN platform can auto-select the necessary filters, allowing one to view the other slots if necessary.

So, when you're going to schedule for your mom, it will see the age of the person you're scheduling, i.e. your mom, and use that as the basis for the filter.
