This issue is a standing ticket where Cowsay news and announcements will be posted. You can follow it to receive email notifications about Cowsay releases and similar things. I'll keep it low volume.

Cowsay 3.8.2 is out.

This is a small release, just to remove an NSFW cow.

Cowsay 3.8.3 is out.

This release fixes an installation location detection problem that broke cowsay if you called it through a symlink located in a different directory, like through /sbin/cowsay on Arch Linux. Also removes a couple more NSFW cows and the broken *.pm format cows. See the release notes for details.
