Since v1.5 there has been added a setting, Import unpublished images which controls whether images attached to unpublished parent posts are included in an import.
Two questions:
When it comes processing posts and pages during import, should non-published posts and pages be included, or perhaps be controlled by this setting or a similar setting? Currently only published posts and pages are processed.
When hooking into the editor (saving posts, pages, attachments) should there be status filters? Currently these hooks do not discriminate between the status of the content being edited.
