Preserve counter badges space

This PR wrap badges counters in a .badges block to ensure space in flexbox layout is preserved at load, when counter aren't already available. It fixes to flickering effect that occurs ahen menu load and display before counters are available.

@misstick I disabled it because it sometimes hide the counter flickering issue. As long we change the way we display the indexer in an upcoming PR< do you prefer I re-enable it, or do we leave it as this?
