Upload progress not very intuitive

When uploaded several photos at once, the progress is not very clear:

• drag several picture in the area dedicated for that
• after few seconds, corresponding thumbnails are displayed in the page (with correct content; ie. my photos)
• exit the album and then come back
• all thumbnails are gone and are replaced by grey boxes with 'loading' inside.
• some box are being filed with blue (which I guess is the corresponding progression)
• when the box is filled, it is replaced by its corresponding thumbnail.

That's not very intuitive. I initially thought that the upload was already finished when all the thumbnails were displayed and sent the link to other ppl (they were surprised to see only 2 photos...)
