What I understanding of Capella Library references, is in Capella Project an object of ModelInformation type is created to hold a different information of the referenced Library, among this information, a reference to this library. When deleting the library Lib, the references become a proxy, and the detachment works only on this proxy to set it to null or remove it and not the valid holding object.
