Logging in - email address with plus sign #536

I have troubles signing in to any service, using my email address formed like: example+suffix@gmail.com . Perhaps the url-decode function replaces the plus sign with a space?

As another anecdote, I just successfully signed in with the same style email (also a gmail address) with Garmin connect. What service were you signing in to?

I was trying RideWithGPS, and VeloHero. To be sure, I just checked them again, with the same result. As soon as I changed the account address to something without plus, it signed in fine.
